 3 Nasty Habits You'll Have To Drop

Oh yeah! It's time to complete what we started. We had discussed four at the previous post. Today, we'll address the remaining three, obviously, bringing the numbering to perfection. I admonish you to stay with me till the end of this. Here, I present the remaining habits to be dropped.

1. Indecent Dressing: While I belief it's your choice to decide what you wear, I still want to address the backless, strapless, short and somewhat tight clothes that adorns our wardrobes. It's not a good sightseeing the tongue talking, devil chasing, fire-brand sister's priceless assets peeping through her apparel. Inappropriate dressing is one of the attributes of a strange woman? Let me ask again, judging by your apparel, what would people take you for? Think right and realign.

2. Dating Random Guys: Really? is there no balm in Gilead? Are there no guys in the church? We might not want to hear it but I'll clearly remind us that Dinah's journey to the shechemite's prince yielded no good return. Regardless of how tempting the offer is, I beseech you to stay strong and decline such.

"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14.

3. Wild Behaviors: I call it wild becuase that's what it is. Sometimes, we get too familiar with ourselves that we disregard one another and in the process, God. Nobody blames you for coming late to church but why insisting on sitting at the front row? Why blow out that gum during sermon? Why keep malice with the choir master just because he corrected you or why nag at the head usher? Believe me, this isn't fitting. God has called us with an honourable calling. Therefore, show some honour.


I end with this quote in Philipian 4:8
" Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things "
